CLASS INFORMATION - 2022
KINDER AGE STUDENTS (3-5 YEARS)
Please bookmark this page for future reference.
WHAT TO EXPECT THIS YEAR....
This year we will be holding two concerts! This will also be our first year in our new and incredible venue - Bunjil Place!

We make every effort to ensure our concerts are as enjoyable as possible for all involved, however our afternoon show this year will be longer than previous years.
Please note: All Kinder age children will all be in our shorter morning show.
Unlike many other activities, students have been working towards this day for much of the year and we thank you for your patience and excitement for what will be a super epic show! We anticipate the afternoon show will run for around three hours.
While we do our best to keep the show flowing, we also thank you for your patience should there be an occasional stoppage. Pre-planning will ensure this is kept to a minimum, but as you can understand working with children, sometimes last minute toilet trips or quick costume changes can mean a small delay.

We are SO EXCITED for our students to have the opportunity to perform in such a beautiful, grand theatre and can't wait to share all of their hard work with you!

To our amazing families and those joining our studio,
We would like to start by sharing our absolute appreciation to all of our incredible families and students who supported us during 2020. Whether dancing online, reaching out with kindness or simply being part of our community, we thank you.
2020 was challenging for our whole community and we wouldn't have made it through without so much support.
Our passion has always been to give children a safe, fun, educational experience, where they can grow confidence and friendships. We know for many our studio is considered their "second home" and we can't wait to get back there in person for 2021.
It is going to be an amazing year and we can't wait for you to continue to, or join, our studio family.
We also have some extra exciting events and opportunities planned to ensure that 2021 is the BEST YEAR YET!!
ABOUT US
Confident Kids Performing Arts School started in 2013 with two small classes in a community hall. Since then our school has grown to our own two studio venue, while continuing to fiercely embrace our values to include and support ALL children in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
OUR VISION
To help children grow confidence through dance and performing arts,
while developing skills to become the best performer they can be!
WHY US:
CONSISTENT FEEDBACK - During terms 1, 2 and 3, school aged children receive a certificate with positive feedback and areas we are working towards, to celebrate their hard work and to keep parents up to date with progress. Our Preschool children have other forms of certificates that also keep parents informed. Term 4 we hold our concert to showcase our student's hard work on stage!
COST - We understand dance, singing and acting can be expensive. We go to great lengths to ensure costs are kept affordable including; NO enrolment fees, low costume hire fees and uniform options for all budgets.
COMMUNITY - We are incredibly proud of those in our studio community, our families. We do not believe in competition between children in classes and focus on positivity, inclusivity and creating a space where our students can come, be themselves, feel accepted, develop a sense of belonging and make life-long friends.
PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS - At our school, you are not a number. We know each child and family and ensure we offer support whenever it is needed. Whether it is a rough day at school or celebrating a lost tooth, we truly care about our students!
AGE APPROPRIATE MUSIC AND COSTUMES - We believe children should be children and ensure all costumes and music are appropriate for the student's age.
TALENTED STAFF - We are so proud of our qualified, positive and supportive staff. They share our vision, are the heart of our studio and role models for our students.
SPECIALISED AND PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS - We only partner with the best programs and syllabuses to ensure we offer high quality training.
EXTRA OPPORTUNITIES - We are always offering and developing additional opportunities for our students to be involved in and grow confidence in. Some examples include the 'Moomba Parade', in house choreography concert, DanceStep Student Teacher Training Program, competitions, concerts, exams and performance days.
We provide opportunities for children as young as 6 months right up until 13 years.
From here, our students move into our "Inspire Academy of Dance and Performing Arts Classes" held at the same venue.

Both my girls have been a part of Confident Kids for almost 2 years. They absolutely love the classes each week. The amazing teachers offer such positivity, enthusiasm and encouragement, it is truly fantastic.
Not only do the teachers help the kids, but they are so generous in helping a “new dance Mum”, especially around concert time.
I would highly recommend Confident Kids, as it really offers fun, learning, team spirit and a great environment for kids to develop and thrive.
