Kim fell in love with dancing at the age of 3 after watching her big sisters dance concert! From then, she always knew that she wanted to be a professional dancer and dance teacher.
She has years of performance experience, but dancing is about so much more than that to her.

It is about challenging yourself, setting and achieving goals, creative processes, self expression, self growth and the trust and friendships your form with your dance family.

This is why she loves teaching. To see her students grow in confidence, achieve their goals and most importantly have fun.

Kim has worked internationally as a dancer, and has just completed her second year of full time training.

She continued her studies at The Space and will be works with a range of teachers and choreographers throughout the year wiht an aim to incorporate what she learns in the current industry to give to her students, to give them a broad learning experience.

Emma is so honoured and grateful to introduce herself as a teacher with Confident Kids!

Emma started her dancing journey around the age of 3 when she was a mini. Tap and jazz was her forte all the way through her tots, tweens and teens years.  She studied a Cert II & III in Dance and has been trained by incredible teachers.

Her dance styling then began to include other types of dance, specifically hiphop and shuffling.  She danced with Jstep Academy for a year and competed with Monsta Crew, which changed her life and outlook on not only hiphop, but dance itself.

Emma lives for dance and teaching.  She has taught for some time across Melbourne including diverse groups and performance companies, as well as being a professional commercial dancer.   She is also constantly working on new collaborations with other dancers and companies.

She is really looking forward to providing our students with the best possible dance journey and building their confidence not only with their dance, but within themselves.

She is excited to show everyone that you CAN follow your dreams! And that a positive outlook equals a positive outcome.

"Get your dancing shoes on, and let’s hit the floor and I’ll show you some secrets to living a happy and hyped life!" - Emma

Isabella is also one of our competition students with impressive results.  This includes winning the Southern Federation of Dance Choreography Competition in 2019 for her age in choreographing her own classical work.  An incredible skill for such a young dancer.

Her favourite style is classical ballet and hopes to become a fully qualified teacher as she grows.

Her focus is the happiness of her students and ensuring each of them is smiling and having fun.  She also loves watching them achieve!
